Release Overview
2022-03 provides a number of new features and significant improvements to DebtPayPro. New to this month's listing is the acknowledgement of releases that originated as requests via the Forth Aha IdeaBoard. These items are assigned an Aha Number in the following format - "CRM-XXX".
What's New
Launched Document Packages
This new feature creates a document package which can contain multiple Document templates. Document Packages make it easier for you to build and maintain a “package” of documents that you can send to the end consumer and share with your users. Through an intuitive drag and drop UI, Document Packages bring advanced capabilities that separate and handle each document individually, allowing you to mix all types of documents, while preserving the unique layout and branding of each. Relaunched the Student Debt Portal
The Student Debt Portal was relaunched with a more uniform, mobile-optimized, and user-centered experience. In addition, we simplified document collection, made the Help and Support features easier to access, and added a new Messaging feature. For more information, click Here.
Added Auto-Refresh upon Document Generation (CRM-306)
This addition automatically refreshes the page after a user generates a document for a contact. This allows the generated doc to be immediately visible, and will prevent users from having to manually refresh the page to view the document they just generated.
Added “Advance Assigned To” as options for sender & recipient on new trigger system (CTX-I-48)
The old trigger system had an option to send emails/texts on an advance status change (and all other advance-specific events) to/from the various advance level assignees (i.e. "Sales", "Underwriter", etc). This new feature (specific to the Business Loans file type only) brings the same functionality to the new trigger system.
Created POA Sent Tags (CRM-300)
A POA Sent date tag was determined to be useful for DRSPs to be able to pull in data for individual debts. Tags were created for {POA_SENT_DATE} and {CX_POA_SENT_DATE}. Both fields look at the POA sent date field in the CRM and populate the date entered there for the debt.
-
{POA_SENT_DATE} is driven from the creditor drop down when generating a document
-
{CX_POA_SENT_DATE} looks at the creditor number to generate that date.
Added Funder Name as a column on the Advance Tab report (CRM-314)
Formerly, when clicking on the Contact > Advance tab, clients had to edit each advance to view the lender on the advance. We eliminated this extra work by adding a Funder (lender) column to the dashboard page.
What's Improved
Updated ClixSign Email Notifications and Settings Page
This update has two pieces.
1. Email Notification Handling - Changed all outbound email notifications for Clixsign to originate from notifications@clixsign.com. It will not allow clients to send via their own sender, or use the CRM user or any other similar existing functionality. This change also updated the "from" name to include “via Clixsign”, eg: “John Smith via Clixsign”. If user has a "from" name setup at the company level, use that or fall back to sending user if no company level setting present. Finally, it keeps reply to as an email back to the sending user.
2. The Settings Page was updated to remove “From Email Address” from table and from edit modal.
Allow for Self-Managed Integration Settings (CRM-I-355)
Until now, Integrations Settings were a feature only accessible to the Forth Support teams, causing you delays in making the changes you need. Effective April 1st, Forth is making the Integrations Settings pages public facing and easily accessible (with the appropriate role permissions, of course!). We also enabled a Change Log that's viewable through the integration settings page. Setting changes and differences will now be logged, and accessible to provide accountability and transparency to those using this feature.
Self-management of your own Integration Settings allows you to establish your own settings without having to contact Forth Support, saving you time and money!
External Form Request via SMS (CRM-251)
This new feature builds functionality to send an external form request link via SMS. On the external forms page, this introduces a new setting to allow the user to enable the form to be sent via SMS. When settings are properly configured (via a checkbox in the options section of external forms), this new feature will allow for the form to be sent via SMS to the customer from the SMS section on the contact dashboard.
Built out custom task dispositions
Our task system allowed for users to save and complete tasks on contacts. These tasks only had a limited set of statuses - complete, overdue, or incomplete. To improve the functionality of tasks, we have added the ability for users to create their own custom task dispositions to use as they see fit. These task dispositions can be created and managed on the Task Settings Page, and can be used on any task created on a client's Contact Dashboard.
Replaced "username" with "System" on emarketing logs under the contact history logs moving forward (CRM-299)
On contact history event for email marketing events, this minor change updated who an event is logged by to be the System, and not an individual CRM user. Formerly, the system displayed the name of the user who setup a emarketing campaign in the logs that were produced on the contact history.
Updated to Merge Events on Dedupe
This update introduced a new action to merge events upon launch of a de-duplication operation. Historically, events from a duplicate contact were deleted when merged with a master contact.
Improved Bluerock Search For Contacts Lookup
Forth had a dedicated API for the Bluerock Phone Integration that allows our clients with that integration to search contacts by status, An example of this is status=New Lead. The system searched for contacts in that status for the account and send back to the client. Now, this feature improvement allows you to search by "List ID" instead of just a status name. For instance, you may now use status=New Lead or status=List:102319. This allows the use of contact list logic/filters to retrieve the contact set. This provides a more refined set of contacts than just status alone.
