What's New (12)
Expose Contact Assigned Company into Credit Parsing Tool
We updated the Object Reference Contact variable to not include assigned company key-value-pair as assigned_company: '<Assigned Company ID>.' This was done so that affiliates could customize debts loaded from a credit pull based on the company to which clients will be submitting. This results in the Contact Assigned Company ID being included as a new Credit Report Parsing Tool variable.
Sharing SMS Templates & Campaigns with Companies
We created a smoother way to manage affiliate settings without constantly switching between affiliate and parent company. The “shared with” dropdown for SMS templates will let you select specific companies. This allows broader sharing options and allows companies to secure their templates further. When a company is selected (more than one is possible), its users can see the SMS templates shared when scheduling a campaign or sending individual SMS messages. We also updated the visibility of templates when creating campaigns in the SMS Tab. When searching for templates, users will now only see those relevant to their position in the company hierarchy.
New {CreditorListExt} Table Tag
We developed a new tag, {CreditorListExt}, in the Welcome Call Verification script for Forth CRM users. This tag shows detailed information about debts, including the type of debt and who owns the debt, along with existing details.
Capture CreditReportIdentifier from CRS & Xactus360
We added this feature to allow users to capture the {{CreditReportIdentifier}} field from a credit report to keep track of credit reports via API, and prevent duplicate pulls. NOTE: This is currently limited to Xactus360 and CRS via MCL. Additional providers may be added in the future, but this scope is limited to these two providers.
{FORM_BANKING} Tag in CRM Scripts
We enhanced our CRM system to ensure the secure handling of sensitive information by creating and updating two new tags to efficiently collect and store detailed banking and credit card data.
Update Ytel SMS to Include "Limit SMS Logging to Company Token"
We launched an optional setting to enable clients to restrict SMS response message logging to the company associated to the contact’s company assignment. This configuration control is accessible (Admin -> Integrations -> YtelSMS under the Access Control section) for account administrators but is otherwise role-restricted.
Forth Pay Managed Payees Available in the CRM
We added a feature that allows Forth Pay managed payees created on the payee management page and enabled for accounts to appear and populate under the “Forth Pay Managed Payee” section on the Forth CRM. This is reflected on the Fee Account page and the All Splits page when the payee field is selected when setting up fees for 3rd-parties.
Generate Package for Creditor and Package Save with Creditor Name
We added this feature so that clients can append the creditor name to a document template upon creation to help easily identify which creditor the document template was created for. This mirrors the current logic for creating a document template to include the chosen creditor and the last four digits of the account number in the document title, which can be applied to generate a document package.
Document Generation Required Fields Error Handling
To better serve users attempting to generate or send documents for signature via Clixsign, we developed this update to allow the system to clearly indicate if they have missed any required fields before proceeding.
Fee Tags for Dynamic Debt Types
We added fee tags for dynamic debt types so that their clients can have them available to use anytime they need them. These tags will be specifically used in agreements to accurately reflect the details of various fees, considering the creditor number and the associated debt type. This feature enables clients to dynamically insert fee information into their agreements.
Role-Based Controls for Requesting Hold Release
With this update, the permission settings have been changed to include a new role permission called “Request Hold Release.” This allows you to assign permissions based on user roles, giving you precise control over who can request a hold release for an enrolled contact. If the “Request Hold Release” role permission is enabled for the user role, a Request Release button will be visible on the contact dashboard and the contact's enrollment view page.
Settlement Setting to Control Custom Fee Payments
We added a setting (within Settlement Settings) to control custom earned performance fee dates and amounts so that companies who do not want their users to have access to this feature can turn it off for their negotiators. This setting will be ENABLED by default for all accounts at the account level (not limited to specific roles/users), and may be disabled at the DSRP's discretion.
What's Improved (1)
Improved Portal Domain Management
Assign Portal Domain Tab
We developed this page to allow users to assign portal domains to companies that exist in their account. This page will only be accessible to users from the controlling company of the account, and, if custom domains are present in the account. The system default domain will be automatically selected as the default choice for new companies visiting the page for the first time. This was done to simplify the assigning of domains to sub-companies in the customer portal.
Configure Portal Domains Page
We completed a series of enhancements to the customer portal, providing greater customization and flexibility. Users can now inherit default configurations for custom domains, with options to modify these settings, along with enhanced controls for customizing the Look & Feel subtab, including new image uploads and hex code color entries. Onboarding and Financials subtabs have been improved, with file-type specific handling for ID verification and financial transaction configurations. Additionally, the Support subtab now allows for easy reordering and editing of FAQs.
Portal Administration Landing Page
We developed a new landing page for the Portal Administration Interface, the appearance and function of which is dynamically determined based on the account the page is accessed on and the accessing user’s company. System Default Domains will only be configurable by Forth.
Restrict Configuration Creation/Editing of System Domains
We enhanced the customer portal settings page by restricting the creation and editing of system domain configurations to FORTH (PRO) account users only. Only users with appropriate role permissions within the PRO account can create or modify system domain configurations. Non-FORTH users (any user in any account that is not PRO) should not have access to these settings to ensure the system remains secure and consistent.
Limit Domain Configurations to One Per Domain
We enhanced the customer portal settings page by limiting domain configurations to one per domain. This means domain configurations will no longer exist at a company level; they will now exist at an account level. This will allow for easier administration and a more user-friendly setup, reducing the risk of conflicts and errors caused by multiple configurations for the same domain.
