This article addresses the "My Settings" page within the Forth CRM. It is organized into the following sections:
Overview
The My Settings page in the global header allows users to set their profile information, notification preferences (in-app and via SMS), and mail configurations and signatures.
To access My Settings, begin by going to the top right of the page and clicking open the Profile and Settings dropdown menu in the top right corner. Click My Settings (as shown below), and go to the section you want to set up.
My Profile Settings
In the My Profile section, you can:
- Edit the first and last names assigned to a particular user name.
- Update the Mobile Number and Fax Number associated with your profile.
- Update the Timezone and whether the system will show absolute time (showing the actual date and time) or Relative Time (showing dates relative to the current time, i.e., "3 minutes ago".
Notifications Settings
The Notifications section (see image above) offers two tabs by which to set Notifications. The first tab is "Preferences" (see red highlight above). This is where you can assign whether or not Unread Notifications are shown to the user, AND if you wish pop-up notifications to slide in left from the bottom corner of the screen, and then disappear. These decisions are made by toggle button for each.
The second tab is the "Categories" tab (see image above). This offers a radio button to enable or disable the method to be alerted about the various platforms and integrations. These methods are via Pop-Up and via the Notification Center.
Email Settings
The Email Settings section offers two tabs for you to set up. The first tab is "Configuration" (see the red box at the top of the image below). Here, you can establish your email provider information or disconnect an existing provider. The second tab is "Signature" (see the red box at the bottom of the image below).
The Signature tab is where you can establish the Email Signature you wish to append to all outgoing emails.
Connected Accounts
This section is where you can connect to accounts you have established with various software vendors. These include Intuit Quickbooks (Accounting Software) and Phone Dialers, such as BlueRock. In the example shown above, you would enter your BlueRock Username in the Bluerock text field.
When you are finished editing your "My Settings" page, click the Save Changes box that appears on the bottom right of the page.
If you by chance try to exit out of the My Settings page, you will receive a warning notification at the bottom of the page, similar to the one shown below.
