Logging into the Consumer Portal as the Consumer

This article describes the steps a user must follow to log into the Consumer Portal as the Consumer. It is organized into the following sections:

DRSP agents can access the Consumer Portal via the Client Dashboard in the FORTH CRM, allowing them to better assist consumers and compare data issues. When a consumer contacts an agent for assistance, the agent can see exactly what the consumer does and troubleshoot issues in real-time.

How to Access

To have access to log in as the consumer, the permission to do so must be activated.

For Consumer Portal access (account login), permanent passwords are not required. Enter your email address on the login page, and a prompt will instruct you to check your inbox for a secure login link.

Once you receive the email, click Login to access your portal automatically. Please note that clicking the button multiple times may delay your access, as each unique link remains valid for 10 minutes.

1. Go to the Admin tab 
2. Click Roles.
3. Select an existing Role from the dropdown menu located at the top left of the page.
   
4. Scroll down to the Contacts section and select the Login as Consumer checkbox (see red box below).
   
5. Click Save at the top left of the page in the navigation bar.

How to Use

Logging in as a Consumer

1. Click the Contacts tab and select a particular contact.
2. Go to the contact's Client Dashboard and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
3. On the left side of the page, scroll down to the Customer Portal section.
   

4. Click Login as Consumer. The page displayed below should now appear.

IMPORTANT: The two images shown above will appear if you have not already accessed the Portal. If you have already accessed it, you will be taken straight to the respective Portal's dashboard.
