| FHC-NOTI-02 | How to Configure Loan Assignment Notifications | July 21, 2026 | Basic |
This article describes the new Loan Assigned notification event within the FORTH system. It is for internal CRM users who want to manage their personal notification preferences for loan assignments.
The article is organized into the following sections:
Overview
Tracking new loan assignments manually creates operational delays and strains team communication. This update introduces an automated alert system that triggers the moment a loan record is assigned to you. By receiving instant updates through your preferred communication channels, you can take immediate action on new files without checking the CRM manually.
Prerequisites
Standard user access to the FORTH CRM.
How to Access
-
Log in to the FORTH CRM.
-
Navigate to My Settings > Categories.
How it Works
- Locate the Loans category block (see the red arrow in the image above).
-
Find the Loan Assigned notification event row.
- Toggle the checkboxes for your preferred delivery channels (such as email or in-app alerts) to turn the notification on.
- Click Save Changes that appears at the bottom of the page to apply your preferences.
Troubleshooting/FAQ
Will I get an alert if I assign a loan to myself?
No. The system does not send a notification if you perform the assignment action yourself. You only receive alerts when another agent or an automated system process assigns a loan to you.
What details are included in the notification?
Each alert includes the specific Loan ID or loan number, the associated client name, and a direct link to open the loan record in the CRM.
What happens if a loan is reassigned to someone else?
If a loan moves from your account to another user, only the newly assigned user receives a notification. You will not receive an alert when a loan is unassigned or transferred away from you.
Will I receive alerts for loans that were assigned to me in the past?
No. This feature is not retroactive. You will only receive notifications for new assignment actions that occur after the tool is deployed.
