Welcome to the September 2026 update for FORTH CRM and FORTH PAY! This month, we are excited to introduce several enhancements designed to improve data security, streamline payment workflows, and increase financial accuracy across your organization. Read on to discover how these new features and updates can elevate your daily operations.
These updates are organized into the following sections:
- User Management and Security
- Settlement and Payment Operations
- Remittance Management
- Financial Reporting and Balance Management
User Management and Security
Automate Legal Signatures with "State Attorney" Signer Types
Administrators can now control whether specific user roles are permitted to edit the "To" field when sending emails from contact profiles. By restricting changes to recipient addresses, your team can prevent unauthorized email changes, eliminate sending errors, and ensure sensitive client communications reach only verified recipients. This permission can be easily configured under Role Management in your CRM settings.
Settlement and Payment Operations
Automatically Adjust Weekend and Holiday Payment Schedules
The system now automatically highlights settlement payments scheduled on weekends or non-business days and offers an "Adjust All Dates" tool to resolve conflicts in bulk. You can easily shift payment dates to the previous or next valid business day, ensuring timely processing without manual date-by-date adjustments. This automation streamlines payment scheduling and helps prevent delayed or missed transactions.
Mercury Financial Payment Reference Validation
Direct Pay transactions for Mercury Financial now automatically validate reference numbers, preventing users from entering full 16-digit account numbers and prompting an alert if an invalid ID is used. This safeguards your workflows against compliance errors, reduces processing rejections, and speeds up settlement approvals with Mercury Financial. Your team can maintain clean account records without requiring manual daily cleanup reports.
Remittance Management
Separated Bank Remittance Files for Jefferson Capital
Remittance files for Jefferson Capital Direct Pay are now automatically split into separate files based on the underlying funding bank associated with each fee account withdrawal. This ensures each remittance file accurately matches its corresponding bank deposit, streamlining financial reconciliation and eliminating multi-bank file confusion. Each file is transmitted independently to your SFTP server with unique bank identification.
Financial Reporting and Balance Management
Accurate Custodial Fee Display & Forecast Projections
We have refined the frontend logic for Forth Custodial Gateway fees in client amortization schedules to eliminate duplicate and unlinked placeholder fees. Your running balances and financial projections now reflect true database records and approved post-contribution exceptions, delivering reliable and accurate client forecasts. This fix ensures consistent financial reporting without confusing balance shifts for your clients.
Standardized GCS Balance Business Definitions
We have implemented updated business definitions and standardized system logic for Global Client Solutions (GCS) balance tracking across contact records. This update ensures consistent financial data presentation and clearer balance visibility throughout your CRM workflows. Your team can now track and report on GCS account balances with greater precision and confidence.
