FHC-XX | Lending USA Fresh Start Loan (FSL) | June 10, 2024 | 0.5 |
This article addresses how the Lending USA (LUSA) Fresh Start Loan (FSL) program works for Forth clients and is divided into the following sections:
- Preliminary Steps
- Determining Eligibility
- Qualified or Not Qualified
- Offers
- Funding Agreement and Debts Settled
Preliminary Steps
To begin, the Forth Customer must enroll in a Debt Settlement Relief Program (DSRP) program of their choosing and then debit into the DSRP program as defined by their payment schedule.
Determining Eligibility
At this point, the Customer is evaluated to determine their eligibility for the FSL Loan option. If the Customer is not interested, they may continue with the normal Forth debt settlement program.
If the Customer is interested in the FSL Loan option, a CRM agent submits the Customer's request for eligibility via the Loans button in the Menu Ribbon, which can be found by going to the Contacts tab in the CRM (see below).
If enrolled in a DSRP program, the option to submit to LendingUSA FSL becomes available on the Contact Dashboard. Use of the LUSA FSL integration within the Forth CRM begins by logging in to the CRM and going to the Contacts tab. From here, create a new contact or search for an existing user by entering the User’s ID in the Search field at the top left of the screen.
After clicking the "Loans" nested tab (i.e., subtab) within the Contact Dashboard (see the image above highlighted in red), you will see available options similar to what is seen below. Click the "Submit Loan Application" button associated with "LendingUSA (-)".
NOTE: DO NOT click any button associated with “LendingUSA-Direct-to-Consumer.” That is another program entirely.
The page will then change to the "Submit a Contact" page as shown in the example below.
Confirm that all the information listed is accurate, select the checkbox next to the appropriate debt(s) to apply (see red highlighted checkboxes above left), and click the "Submit" button (see highlighted button above).
Qualified or Not Qualified
If the Customer qualifies, the green "Submit" button changes to "Proceed". Click the "Proceed" button to continue.
The LUSA FSL application is now set to pre-qualified, and their History Tab is automatically updated (see image below).
If the contact fails LUSA's pre-qualification, you will receive a warning like the one below. However, you may still proceed with submitting the contact. To do so, select the green "Proceed" button. if you choose not to proceed with submission, you will be able to start from the beginning at another time of your choosing.
Offers
Once Lending USA has received the submission from Forth, they will send the loan application to the consumer at the email address listed on the contact dashboard. That application will be accessible via hyperlink and will appear similar to the image shown below:
Once your consumer completes all information on the page above and clicks "Submit," the page below will appear, confirming that LUSA will review and confirm the application.
The contact's History tab will be automatically updated within the Contact's record in the CRM contact (see image below).
From this point forward, the Forth system will receive status updates from LUSA and display them in the user interface (see examples below).
