This article describes the "Alerts" feature in the Forth CRM Client Dashboard. It is organized into the following sections:
Overview
The Alerts feature provides a modern experience, with greater options to customize different alerts by priority and allow for an automatic expiration date for your alerts. It is used to create and store notes with all types of information regarding a specific client. This includes reminders, client responses, notes on a call, changes to be made to a contract, etc.
NOTE: If content of a proposed alert is not critically important, the "Notes" feature can be used in place of it. For more information on the Notes feature, please see our Help Center article on Notes.
Adding a new alert
- Go to the Client Dashboard > click Add Alert on the far right side of the Navigation Bar.
- The Add Alert dialog box appears. Here, you can assign Alert Type (priority level), an expiration date if desired, as well as the content of the Alert. NOTE: you have a limit of 140 characters in the Alert language field. See the example below.
- Once you enter the Alert text in the open field, click “Save Alert” and you will see your Alert appear near the top of the Client Dashboard area (see red arrow below).
NOTE: If you assigned an expiration date for this alert, the expiration date will appear to the left of the "Update" button as shown above.
Editing or deleting an existing alert
- From the Contacts tab > go back to the Client Dashboard.
- To make changes to the existing alert, click “Update” found on the right side of the alert.
- After clicking “Update”, the following dialog box appears:
- Each alert is presented with a varying level of visual importance and can be used to grab the agent's attention to communicate important information. Expiring alerts also prevent clutter on client files in case any notices are time-restricted.
- To delete a particular alert, go to the trashcan image on the far right of the alert and click on that image (see image below).
