| FHC-XX | How to Enable and Use Contact Alert Pop-Ups | May 15, 2026 | Basic |
This article describes the new Contact Alert Pop-up feature within the FORTH system. It is organized into the following sections:
Overview
The Contact Alert Pop-up ensures that you never miss critical account information, such as legal status updates or urgent settlement expirations. By displaying active alerts in a central window immediately upon opening a contact record, the system guarantees that important blockers are seen and explicitly acknowledged before an agent can interact with the client's file.
Prerequisites
- Contact your FORTH Representative to activate "Enable Alert Pop-up on Contact Load".
- Super Admin permissions.
- Standard User access is required to view contact records.
How to Access
Once enabled, the FORTH system checks for active alerts every time you open a contact's dashboard (via the Contacts tab). Follow these steps: Contacts tab> Select a Contact > Dashboard
How it Works
- Select a particular contact within the Contacts tab and go to that contact's Contact Dashboard.
- If the contact has active alerts, a pop-up window will automatically appear in the center of the page, dimming the background in the process.
-
Review the alert contents displayed in the pop-up window (see example below).
The alerts are still color-coded based on urgency:
Red: Critical blockers or urgent issues.
Orange: Important warnings.
Blue: General information or status updates.
NOTE: Only five (5) alerts are allowed to be displayed at the same time. If this limit is exceeded, you will see an error like the one shown below.
Click Acknowledge located in the bottom right side of the popup to dismiss the window. You cannot click on any fields, buttons, or tabs within the client's file until this window is closed.
After closing the pop-up, the standard blue banner remains at the top of the page as a persistent reference while you work.
IMPORTANT! The pop-up appears every time you navigate to the Contact Dashboard, even if you have viewed that specific contact earlier in your session. This ensures that the most current status is always front-of-mind.
